James, Thanks for everything. Frankly, I had heard twice that "ABC" was cheaper, but you get what you pay for, and I felt Dad would be in better hands, with you. Sure enough, you went the extra mile, I suspect "ABC" wouldn't have been so hands-on, setting up his Service, contacting the needed Military people etc. My poor Father couldn't get a break, a difficult life, but he got the respect he deserved with such a beautiful good-bye. He knew I would somehow do it, but you really made it possible, as I had no idea where to begin. He got the best possible send off, thanks to you. I wanted send a nice letter for your file/reviews. I very highly recommend Heritage Funeral Chapel in Glendale as the best place to help with and have them conduct your families funeral. They have done at least 6 of my relatives. Great personnel.

I felt that I must let you know of my experience working with your business. My father passed away in Arizona. I live in California. As soon as I heard that he passed I gave myself one day to gather as much information as I could before I flew to Phoenix. I understood he pre-planned for cremation but I didn’t know where. The Neptune Society recommended I call your office. The lady who answered the phone could not locate his name – I thanked her for her time and was ready to hang up but she said I should talk to Clent. You confirmed that you could not locate his name but offered to help us if we needed anything. I had no plans on calling you again but kept your name and number in my notes “just in case” because I liked your voice and you seemed to care. I arrived in town with my sisters and found my father’s will. By the time we got in touch with the service he used (donating his body for research) they did not want his remains – it was too late. We were a little frantic because it was 3 pm and we had to leave town the next morning. My sister called your number and we asked for Clent but ended up with a 4 pm appointment with James Chance. James was very welcoming, caring and got us through the paperwork with ease. We even joked a little here and there. This is my first time having to make arrangement for a loved one and I was totally impressed with how every little thing was handled. That was good enough. What really blew me away is the help James provided after we left. After a couple of follow up emails for signatures and address confirmation I thought that would be the end of our correspondence. I was then concerned about how to follow up with Social Security and the Veteran’s Administration so I asked James a simple question. That turned into him offering to help with paperwork. He wrote “I’ve attached the form if you want to do it yourself, but if you’d like me to fill it out for you, I’d be honored to assist you. I burst into tears and called one of my sisters to let her know how much he was willing to help us. I can’t list every thing he helped us with but it was above and beyond any service I was expecting. These may seem like easy and simple things to take care of but when you grieving and trying to honor a parent, these gestures of kindness are huge!! Thank you and James for all you have done for our family!

I cannot thank the staff at Heritage enough for their care, compassion and professionalism in helping us with the arrangements and service for my mother who passed away a few weeks ago. Every dealing we had with the staff was impressive, especially James, who answered our questions, and assisted us every step of the way. I highly recommend Heritage. My family was in funeral service in the Valley for nearly 1oo years. Now in Prescott, I was privileged to assist a new neighbor with her pre arrangements. We met with Karyl at Heritage Memory Park to complete these arrangements. Karyl was instructive, compassionate and dealt with integrity. She facilitated this process with grace and dignity, my neighbor and I left feeling as though we made a new friend. Excellent customer service.

I don't think anything could have been more perfect along with the personal items that she gave me for remembrance of my dad. Everything was great for a celebration of his life.
